We’ve spent the last 18 months laying down the foundations for significant changes across the entire WORKetc platform. But when you’re deep in the dirt building the foundations, the end results often aren’t immediately visible.
So sometimes it feels like you’ve done all that work without any real results–until suddenly it all starts to come together.
That’s where we’re at now. We’re finally in a position to regularly and progressively roll out sweeping changes and improvements across the WORKetc platform.
Introducing ElasticSearch
The first of these is the implementation of ElasticSearch, a modern, open-source, enterprise-grade search engine that lets WORKetc do faster, more incisive searches against large volumes of data.
This means you get the data you need quicker than ever, even if you have hundreds of thousands of contacts, leads, projects, and support cases in your WORKetc account.
We’ve run 7,000 internal tests (if you’re interested, you can view all the results from the compiled raw data here), all with the same results: massive speed improvements all across the board, from company and project detail pages to the activity streams on subscription sales.
So we’ve already confirmed very substantial speed improvements on our end. What we need now is to capture any other outlying activity stream performance issues. And to do that, we need your help.
Experience Improvements First
Tell us which activity streams feel sluggish in your WORKetc account. Then, with your permission, we’ll take a snapshot of your account, enable the new ElasticSearch implementation, optimize your activity stream’s speeds, and share the results.
Since we’ll be using a cloned account to perform the tests, you can rest assured that all of your business-critical data won’t be affected by our testing. The WORKetc account you use everyday will not change or be affected.
Once we’ve confirmed the accuracy of the tests, we will then invite you to be among the first to have your WORKetc account upgraded to the final release of the ElasticSearch update.
