Zoho Pricing

As with most other CRM solutions, Zoho offers different editions of its CRM, each of which have their own unique feature sets. Users have a choice between four distinct editions:1

  • Free Edition costs $0 and is free for up to three users. It features lead management, basic social media integration, web forms, and G Suite integration. Free Edition supports up to 5,000 records and comes with 256MB of default storage for the entire organization.
  • Standard Edition costs $12 per user per month and adds sales forecasting, marketing campaigns, a document library, and custom dashboards and reports. Standard Edition supports up to 100,000 records and comes with 256MB of default storage per user.
  • Professional Edition costs $20 per user per month and adds inventory management, support case web forms, additional security options, and integration with Outlook, Office, and QuickBooks. Professional Edition supports an unlimited number of records but still comes with 256MB of default storage per user.
  • Enterprise Edition costs $35 per user per month and adds more options for security, customization, workflow management, and sales force automation. Enterprise Edition also supports an unlimited number of records but ups the default storage to 512MB per user.

The “freemium” Zoho pricing model makes it an attractive proposition for startups and other businesses with a very limited budget for business management software. It is worth noting, however, that while Zoho CRM is good at what it does, its scope is limited to CRM.

To further extend the system’s usefulness, one would have to invest in the company’s other business management solutions: Zoho Campaigns2, Zoho Reports3, and Zoho Projects4. These, however, are all separate purchases and come with their own pricing plans. All three have feature-limited free editions as well.

One G2Crowd reviewer sums it up thusly: “The software is cheap and competitively priced. While it is not the most feature rich CRM or the best developed, you get a good mix of features for the price.” The reviewer further noted, however, that “if you need to really dive into it for its ‘advanced’ features or need to contact tech support, stay away.”5

WORK[etc]’s approach is the exact opposite of Zoho’s: the system already comes with everything you need to manage the entire customer lifecycle, removing the need for additional app purchases to handle business-critical aspects. Project management, billing, sales, and customer support modules are ready for use straight out of the figurative box.
