Extending WORK[etc] – open API
From the very beginning WORK[etc] has been built mostly on its own API. We designed the API, then built the web app over the top. More recently both the iOS and Android apps make extensive use of our API.

A complete PHP library that can interact with any SOAP methods used by the WORK[etc] API is available via Github:
We plan on launching a number of initiatives to help us partner better with the developer community:
- Cash grants to co-develop add-ons that will benefit all WORK[etc] customers. For example, integrations between WORK[etc] and other products
- A marketplace to list both your products and services including marketing opportunities to our customers
- Developer forum to get help and explore ideas
